David Sacks Denies Owning Crypto in Bitwise ETF

David Sacks denies crypto ties after selling his holdings, but people question his firm’s investments. Ethics review pending, debate continues.

David Sacks, now the AI and Crypto Czar in the Trump administration, is under fire over claims he still has crypto ties. He says he sold everything before taking the role, tweeting:

“Correct. I sold all my cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, SOL) before the administration started.”

But X (formerly Twitter) wasn’t buying it. Users hit his post with a Community Note, saying he still had “large indirect holdings” via Bitwise, a major crypto investment firm.

Sacks clapped back, calling it a lie. He admitted to owning a $74K stake in a Bitwise ETF but said he sold it on January 22. He promised to share more once the ethics review is done.

Even though Sacks personally ditched crypto, his VC firm Craft Ventures still backs crypto companies like Bitwise, BitGo, and Multicoin Capital—which is deep in the Solana game. Critics say that even if Sacks isn’t holding crypto himself, his firm’s involvement raises concerns.

Now, the big debate: should government officials be tied to industries they regulate? Sacks insists he’s in the clear, but until the ethics process is done, the heat isn’t dying down.

BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Achieves 50% Market Share Despite Market Pullback

BlackRock Bitcoin ETF hits 50% market share during a 3-day sell-off. Bitcoin price holds firm, showing strength independent of ETF flows.

BlackRock Bitcoin ETF is absolutely dominating! The world’s largest asset manager now holds more than 50% of all Bitcoin ETF assets in the U.S., with more than $56.8 billion in assets. This milestone is achieved just over a year after U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024.

Despite the recent 3-day sell-off in Bitcoin ETFs, where over $364 million in net outflows were recorded, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) took a hit of $112 million but still remains at the top.

ETFs accounted for a huge portion of Bitcoin’s latest surge, making up 75% of new investments as Bitcoin crossed the $50,000 mark. Bitcoin has also been strong. In spite of outflows in ETFs, its price has still been able to remain over $99,000 as of today.

Industry pros like Marcin Kazmierczak from RedStone believe that Bitcoin’s strength is due to other factors beyond ETFs, like market liquidity and institutional accumulation. Some are worried about Bitcoin’s price action being manufactured, with Samson Mow noting the market looks like it’s stuck in a range. Despite that, Bitcoin remains a top player in the crypto scene.

LTC Skyrockets 46% as ETF Buzz and Whale Activity Fuel Rally

Litecoin pumped 46% on ETF hype and whale buying. CoinShares applied for a Litecoin ETF, and SEC review is underway. Transactions are booming, and whales grabbed $500M in LTC. If momentum holds, $225 is possible.

Litecoin is making waves! The so-called “underrated” crypto just hit new highs, surging 46% this month as ETF hype and whale buying fuel the rally. With CoinShares filing for a Litecoin ETF on Nasdaq, excitement is growing, and the SEC is currently reviewing the proposal. If approved, an ETF would let investors trade LTC like stocks—no wallets, no private keys, just easy access.

Analysts predict a 90% probability the ETF will be approved by late 2025, as U.S. regulators gradually become more comfortable with crypto. But this rally is not mere speculation—Litecoin’s everyday transaction volume has surged to $9.6 billion, a 243% increase from August 2024. Individuals are literally spending LTC, not simply holding onto it.

Meanwhile, whales are making moves. In a two-week period, institutional investors have purchased $500 million worth of LTC, suggesting serious confidence in its long-term value.

Litecoin is trading at around $138 now, with $120 being the crucial support. If the hype continues, analysts are expecting it to go up to $225, but a drop below $80 would kill the momentum.

Everybody’s holding their breath for the SEC—if the ETF happens, Litecoin would take over the entire crypto landscape.

XRP Eyes $8 Amid Growing ETF Approval Speculation

XRP price climbs amid ETF approval speculation, with analysts predicting $8 if approved, despite risks of potential corrections.

XRP’s price has been on a really steady rise lately, boosted by its partial legal victory over the SEC. With the hope of a potential ETF approval, the price could surge even higher. Analysts are speculating that if XRP gets its own spot ETF, the price could hit $8, though that’s still uncertain.

While February started off shaky, XRP has climbed 2% in the past 24 hours and is up 8% from its low point of $2.26 earlier this month. Traders are getting increasingly optimistic that the SEC might approve a spot XRP ETF, and everyone’s watching closely to see how this plays out.

The RSI (Relative Strength Index) is at 41.95, near the lower band, which could be a sign of a price bounce. Crypto analyst CoinsKid also suggests that XRP is showing signs of a bullish reversal, with a possible parabolic move to the $8 level.

But there is also the risk of a major correction if the tide turns. The chart analysis is showing that XRP might witness a reversal to lower levels of $0.82 or $0.38 if it doesn’t work out.

With expectation building around the hope of ETF approval, everyone is holding its breath for the SEC, with rumors hinting at the official announcement about to be made.

JP Morgan predicts XRP ETF could draw $8 billion in investments

JPMorgan predicts XRP ETFs could pull $3-8B. Ripple’s CEO sees approval soon, especially with SEC shakeups and crypto buzz.

JPMorgan’s dropping some serious predictions—XRP could bring in anywhere between $3 billion and $8 billion if it gets its own spot ETF. This is based on how well Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs did last year, with Bitcoin’s ETFs already owning around 8% of its market value and Ethereum ETFs taking a smaller chunk at 3%. The big question? Could XRP join that lineup soon?

Monica Long from Ripple is betting on it. She thinks once Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs are fully approved, XRP will be next. And it’s not just Ripple that’s pushing for this—big players like Bitwise and WisdomTree are already trying to get their own XRP ETFs out there.

Top ETF analyst Nate Geraci is also calling it—XRP’s spot ETF might get approved this year. In fact, users on Polymarket give it a 59% chance of happening by 2025. And the buzz is real, with some saying there’s even a 50% chance it gets approved by July 31.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is all in on XRP ETFs, though he thinks the SEC might approve Litecoin ETFs first. But with a new pro-crypto administration on the horizon and SEC chair Gary Gensler stepping down, it’s looking promising for XRP.
