Matrixport analysts attribute the volume spike to increased retail interest following trump’s win, as his pro-crypto stance promises potential shifts in the U.S. regulatory landscape. Trump’s aim include creation of Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, making U.S. “crypto capital” and if possible replacing SEC Chair Gary Gensler.

Public and Institutional Interest Soars

Not only market value of bitcoin rose but also it’s popularity, since google searches for Bitcoin rose to five-year high, up to 78% reflection widespread interest. That’s not all because spot Bitcoin ETFs also saw inflows of over $4.2 billion, helping drive the cryptocurrency’s recent rally.
